The Gulf Islands Timber Frame Park Shelter is on schedule and going up quickly. This project for BC Parks is located on Cortes Island in the Smelt Bay Campground. Access to the Island is by the Whaletown Ferry on Sutil Point and you can also get there by private boat. The structure will be enjoyed mostly by the public as this is the only campground on Cortes Island.
