Tamlin Timber Frame Packages – Stair System 

One of the highlights of any home is the stairs. Tamlin designs your showcase timber stair system as part of your house package. Each detail is meticulously designed in 3D, using timber perspective drawings first and then customized to your personal tastes.

Tamlin’s most popular timber frame stair system is our “solid tread, open riser” Douglas Fir stairs which are pre-made at the factory. All joinery is hand crafted using mortise and tenon connections, and hidden fasteners.  Stair handrail and spindles can be customized so Douglas Fir and wrought iron spindles can be used to complement each other. Tamlin offers several “levels” of Douglas Fir stairs depending upon your preferences and budget. Our pre-made custom stair components are easy to assemble on site and are a significant cost savings over traditional stair systems.
