This 1,994 square foot, one and a half level home was built with our panelized wall system and hybrid timber frame design. Wall panels are built at the factory with window rough openings cut in them and timbers are test fit at the factory for ease of assembly on site.
This home has 3 bedrooms (one on the main floor) with the master and a second bedroom upstairs. 2 full bathrooms (one on each floor) a large laundry/storage room and an open concept living/dining/kitchen area. 780 square foot of deck for maximum enjoyment of the views complete this home. The covered porch off the kitchen is perfect for barbequing or just sitting enjoying the view with your morning coffee, no matter what the weather is like.
Another great time and money saver is to have siding and trim prefinished at the factory. Everyone at Tamlin compliments the colours that this client chose. Tamlin pre-finished all the Western Red Cedar siding and trim in Onyx and the client chose black finish on the windows both inside and out. The roasted almond colour on the timbers and clear finish on the soffits are a great contrast to the house colour. Normally our West Coast Contemporary homes have cement board accents around the windows but this client chose to go with all Western Red Cedar siding and the results are stunning.
