Because Tamlin ships our pre-fabricated house packages throughout Canada and Internationally, it is not possible for us to assemble each house package. In addition to the skilled sub-trades that we work with when we are building our homes locally, we have a great network of builder partners. Some have built Tamlin homes before and some are interested in building Tamlin homes and have been placed on our referral list.
We get very positive comments from builders on the quality of our product (particularly the Western Red Cedar and Douglas Fir) and the ease of assembly. Builders also comment about the detail we put on our plans, bill of materials and loading report. Once a builder has worked with our panelized wall system, they not only appreciate how quickly the exterior walls are to put together but also the fact that there is no waste to deal with.
“That’s great but what if you don’t have a builder partner in my area?”
Not a problem, Tamlin will help you source a builder in your area and will talk to them about our homes and your job in particular. We will let you know who would be a good fit for your project.
“What if I already have a builder? Do I have to go with one of your builder partners?”
No we are quite happy to work with a builder that you already have established a relationship with. Quite a few of our builder partners have come through clients who already had a builder that they wanted to work with. Because Tamlin is a builder, we have project management staff that can assist your chosen builder with any questions they have about our panelized wall systems or timber frame elements.
