The spectacular views from our clients’ homes continue to inspire our design team to create homes that take full advantage of them. This home, perched high on a cliff, on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast is no exception. This modified version of our Georgia Strait is a perfect plan to capture the amazing ocean views.
This prefabricated house package was shipped in larger trucks to a staging area and then brought to site in smaller trucks as the winding road was not accessible to Tamlin’s normal 53-foot trailers. The complex foundation plan was designed by Tamlin to accommodate the Georgia Strait and flawlessly executed by one of our builder-partners in the area.
Our client chose to have all their windows custom coloured on the outside and on the inside, which compliments the modern contemporary style of this home perfectly. They also had us replace the standard double sliding doors in the living room area with the newest addition to our window family, multi stacking panel doors. These doors are designed to give you unobstructed views and indoor-outdoor living.
We are so excited that our clients will be able to enjoy Christmas in their new home.
