This prefabricated house package, shipped to New Hampshire, is a 1,435 square foot version of our popular Gambier design with an 864 square foot garage. The home is built on a below ground unfinished basement which can be accessed from either the inside of the home or from stairs to a sunken patio.
The client wanted extra high ceilings for the great room so we changed the pitch of the roof and added an additional row of small windows along the top to balance the look and let in more light.
Tamlin offers a wide range of exterior finishing to suit any client’s preference. The client decided to go with different colors and textures to give the house a unique look that we really like. Tamlin pre-finished the soffits and timber posts and beams as well as the lap siding and the client finished the panel and trim on site. The client also chose factory painted black windows on the outside leaving the inside white. The black looks great and really “pops” with the colours that the client chose.
