At Tamlin, we work closely with our clients to identify potential issues and find workable solutions. In the case of this project, it was working the construction schedule around the Colorado winters. Our solution was to ship the garage and house package components separately. We shipped the garage package at the end of July 2022 and the house in April 2023. This worked out well for the client as they chose to pre-finish all their LP SmartSide siding and trim to complete the garage and utilize that space to store the items for their house package until they are required.
Another advantage of shipping the garage and house packages separately is the client was able to get his permits and have his house foundation ready for his house package when it arrived in early spring.
This 2,431 square foot Gambier home features 3 bedrooms with a large office that could be made into a fourth bedroom. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and a huge master ensuite bathroom. In addition to the master bedroom, there is a second bedroom with an ensuite bathroom that could be used for guests, older children, or an elderly parent.
Our client has chosen black windows on both the interior and exterior. This interior colour can really pop against a white or lighter interior. When shipping to areas like Colorado where the elevation is quite high, we manufacture our windows with breather tubes to equalize the pressure inside and out.
The 1,225 square foot garage has three doors with one being oversized. This is perfect for RVs or equipment storage. The garage will eventually be attached to the house with a breezeway.
