Larry and Paul recently manned the Tamlin Show Booth at the Calgary Home & Garden Show this past week.
With over 20,000 visitors (?) this four day event was a huge success (similar to last year), and despite the minus twenty degree
temperatures, this did not stop anyone from attending. Many of Tamlin’s Calgary clients actually build in BC and this is a big advantage
for Tamlin as we are a certified builder here. Tamlin’s “HYBRID” timber frame approach to design and construction fielded the most questions.
We had a chance to visit a few job sites and also some areas of Calgary (such as Mount Royal) where many homes are starting to show “clear” western red cedar exterior accents and some timber frame design. However, the “REAL” timber frame building is yet to come, and Tamlin hopes we will be able to be the vehicle to highlight our WEST COAST appeal with our western red cedar, and Douglas fir timber designs.
