We have been enjoying our Tamlin Western Red Cedar log home for over two years now and every time we come to Mayne Island our home greets us with the warmth and beauty of the cedar. Before selecting a Tamlin home, we researched available options and contacted several companies. We went with Tamlin not only because we liked the designs they featured, but also because Paul confidently answered all our questions and offered good solutions, such as going with a metal roof for rainwater collection to extend the living space with a large wrap around deck. His group of designers produced several possible plans and patiently handled changes to the design until we had our ideal floor plan. When it came time for the home package to be delivered Paul’s team came on site and got our builder started, they recommended exterior and interior finished and answered questions throughout the build and beyond. Since they house has been completed Tamlin staff stay in touch and drop by whenever they are on Mayne Island. They certainly understand doing business the island way, where the person you deal with is as important as the final product. Our home shows that the people who designed and built it cared.
