The Discovery Ridge is one of Tamlin’s popular prefabricated house package models. This home built in Northern California was customized for the owner and includes a 1,775 square foot main living area with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a flex room built on a slab foundation. This signature Tamlin West Coast Contemporary home has 17’ vaulted ceilings in the living room and is perfect for one-level living. The owner is “hands” on with construction and worked closely with Tamlin to add a 440 square foot garage and customize the home for their building site. Given the location, this home had to be structurally engineered for seismic requirements and Tamlin coordinated this work along with the permit drawings.
While the owner has limited resources given their location, they were willing to provide Tamlin with a week to week building progress of photos. Some of our building projects take days or weeks to install the structural “shell” while others take longer depending on the size of building crews and the complexity of the site.
