The home balances a modern architectural profile with the functional needs of a 1,646 sq. ft. primary residence, using the Gambier’s open concept layout and post supported structure to create a natural sense of flow throughout the interior. A separate garage maintains a clear distinction between built forms while supporting the overall organization of the site.

Large windows and elevated ceiling heights strengthen the connection to the surrounding wooded landscape, while tongue and groove wood ceilings introduce warmth and texture, creating a more intimate and comfortable interior despite the volume of the space. This detailing also reflects the exterior material palette, reinforcing a cohesive architectural expression from outside to in.

The design emphasizes outdoor integration, with generous overhangs and timber framed entry porches that provide protection from the elements while maintaining a welcoming presence.
