Vancouver Island is a vacation paradise on the west coast of Canada. With a spectacular range of sandy beach coastlines and rugged/rocky coastlines, the towns of Tofino and Ucluelet are on the west side of the island. Both picturesque towns offer the best in fishing, kayaking, hiking, and many more outdoor activities where you can explore nature’s best scenery along the beaches or inland trails. Tamlin’s client and their family have chosen to relocate in this amazing location with ocean views.
Construction of their custom home is continuing on schedule with a lot of the exterior work completed including maintenance free prefinished, cement board siding, high quality doors/windows, and metal roof to protect them from the strong winds and rainy conditions often part of life on the coast. Inside the home, roughed-in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC are all substantially completed. Inspections are continuing as each building stage finishes. While stamped engineered plans were done many months ago, structural engineering inspections have also continued to progress. Tamlin shipped this house package a while back, and is now continuing to complete the home as the general contractor.
