Tamlin’s Cortes Island reclaimed Douglas Fir cabin is nearing the final phases of framing. It was shipped prefabricated and ready to assemble on site. Progress has been steady and now the roof system is on, the deck is almost complete and the windows and doors will be installed next. The cabin owners are very happy with the whole build and cannot wait to have it completed.
Tamlin has enough reclaimed timber for two more solid Douglas Fir cabins. Then we will offer it as a Post and Beam cabin with prefabricated in-fill wall system.
