This beautiful wooded property in South-western Connecticut provided the perfect setting for our pre-fabricated Georgia Strait house package. The homeowners had Tamlin design their modified version of this plan on a partial basement/crawl space foundation which worked perfectly for the lot and placement of the house.
Mirroring the original plan was a must to get perfect placement on the lot for this home. The kitchen was enlarged and the side porch was turned into a screen porch with French doors leading off the kitchen. Add the rec room in the partial basement and this makes this a perfect home for entertaining large groups or just a few close friends.
In addition to the great space for entertaining, this home has one bedroom, a full bathroom, and a large mudroom/storage room on the main floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.
Our clients spent their first holiday in the house last Christmas and are loving the house. We love to see the personal stamp each of our clients puts on one of our houses and this one is no exception.
