When designing and building your home, choosing the right windows can play a major role in the overall look and feel of the home. As energy requirements continue to develop in different provinces and states, Tamlin is able to provide windows to meet any energy requirements. All the windows in our house packages come standard with double glazed, low e and argon gas included. Also, as a separate option you can upgrade to either triple glazed or i89 glass to further increase the energy efficiency or U-Value of the windows.
One great feature about Tamlin’s windows is the wide variety of choices you have for your window design. Aside from every style of window available: casement, awning, single hung, etc., you can also have the vinyl frame painted in different colours. Some of the more popular colours include black, polo charcoal, or anodized. You also have the option to have the Vinyl frame made to look like wood. Casement windows can be as large as 42” x 90” and awning windows as large as 66” x 48”.
In our designs we love having a great room with big expansive windows so you can enjoy the view outside your home. With most of our houses, our great room is equipped with a huge door opening so you can walk out to your deck or backyard. With Tamlin, you have the ability to choose between many different styles of doors. Whether it be French doors, sliders, multi stacking sliders or accordion doors, Tamlin is able to offer all of these styles with the ability to paint the frames to match the windows. With the multi-stacking door you have the choice to go as big as 23’ wide by 8’ high and for the sliders you can go as big as 16’ wide x 9’ tall.
