Each of our 2024 home plans can be quickly personalized in the following ways without changing the square footage or room structure. This allows you to truly make the plans your own while still saving time on the design process to expedite manufacturing and building.
Add a Basement
Instead of building on a crawl space or slab foundation, you can add a basement to your Tamlin home as your lot will allow. Many of our clients utilize a walk-out basement for ease of access and increasing their useable living space. When you add a basement, this may change the layout of our main floor since stairs are usually required to the lower level. (All of Tamlin’s new series of plans have predesigned stair locations).
Add a Garage or Carport
With our new 2024 Tamlin Plans it is easy to accommodate a garage or carport that you can enter from the house through the mudroom. We can also add a breezeway or change the design of your home to fit on your lot with a garage (by angling the home or creating an “L” shape building layout).
Modify Decks or Porches
Each of these plans comes with a few options for adding decks or porches to your homes. You can work with our team to determine where the best placement will be for your design and lifestyle. Depending on elevations, views, leisure activities, shade requirements and access, let our design staff share their creative talents to make your home the perfect balance of indoor/outdoor living.
Mirror the Plan
We want to make sure that your Tamlin home functions perfectly for your lot, and in some cases that means mirroring the plan. This is an easy update that our in-house design team can take care of quickly.
