Our clients, The Bachman’s, have just started building their new home in the Lethbridge Alberta area. It is a revised version of our “Dutchess” plan. This is a hybrid timber frame with a vaulted ceiling in the great room as well as other timber elements throughout the home and on the exterior.
We will keep you posted on the progress as the clients opted for panelized walls with the home package so the framing should go very fast.
As owner builders, they are on track to save a good amount of money by coordinating everything themselves and it also saves the ‘profit’ amount a contractor would charge.
