This 1,775 square foot modified Discovery Ridge home package was shipped to Minnesota last week. The prefabricated components were loaded onto two trucks at our factory. Our trucks crossed the border together (a requirement for a house package to the USA) and then staggered delivery to site by a few hours.
Long before our package arrived on site the client had the engineered permit plans from us so they could get their permits and lay the foundation.
Other materials such as doors, windows, exterior siding, and other house package materials, were prepared and carefully checked prior to loading. Given the time of year, which was well into the fall, the client chose to have all the siding, soffits, trim, and timbers pre-stained at the factory.
Like many other of our Discovery Ridge homes, the client chose this home to maximize the lake views that they have.
