Our Maple Ridge project has the septic system installed, the structural build pad is ready for the footing to start this Thursday. This project ran into some issues under the surface once we started the excavation. And although we had dug several test holes prior to excavation and the Owners purchasing the property, we still found we had to dig very deep to reach hard pan.
This resulted in some extra structural fill being required. We incurred no extra expense for our Owners as we always have a back-up plan for subsurface issues that it’s hard to know.
