Our Lethbridge Alberta client has been updating us on the progress of his new home project and I have attached a picture here showing the framing of the walls with the timber frame. This is a ‘hybrid’ design and the timber frame areas are the great room, entry and other exterior areas. They are also utilizing panelized walls (pre-framed exterior wall panels) which has accelerated the framing time quite a bit. The home should be all framed to lock up in 3-4 weeks, which is about half the time of a conventional framed house.
