Another Post & Beam Cabin shipped to the Gulf Isands!
Tamlin’s “reclaimed” Douglas Fir Post & Beam log home package just arrived on Cortes Island, BC. This was the shipment that left Tamlin’s office in Langley yesterday.
The building crews have already prepared the foundation system (in record time) and assembly of the structure will begin right away.
We’ll keep you up to date on progress as this building is sure to be constructed very quickly since all the structural timber components are pre-cut and ready to assemble!
Tamlin’s experienced Gulf Islands truck driver “Dirk” of Volkmann Transport – moves most of our Post & Beam packages and took his crane truck for easy unloading.
Dirk is an expert on travel throughout the Gulf Islands and is always on time and professional.
The foundation is ready and the first layer of logs will going up this afternoon. The owners are very happy with how quickly their cabin is coming together.
