This week, we had the crew over to Gambier Island, BC to finish the install of the Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs) on the foundation and we are now ready to get the concrete trucks in for the pour. Because this is a remote project, concrete trucks have to be ordered well in advance and scheduled precisely or you will miss your ‘window’ of opportunity to keep the project advancing. Tamlin has project Managers who handle all the ordering and scheduling and have this project on track for the Summer 2012 occupancy.
Next up after the concrete pour will be the sub-floor framing and the Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) prefab walls will be erected. I will make sure we photograph the stages so you can actually see this project go up from start to finish!
