Global Buyers Mission “Developing new business relationships with Architects, Developers, Builders, and Wood Product Manufacturers”, Whistler, BC.
The 16th annual Global Buyers Mission was held at the Whistler Conference Centre this past week. This event attracted over 800 delegates from all over the world and some 100 local architects. Tamlin Homes participated in the special “WoodTalks” program run by BC Wood, which featured small group presentations to Architects interested in learning the benefits of prefabrication in remote build projects.
Participants had three full days of educational and networking opportunities with Canadian companies in the building industry. Tamlin Homes was an exhibitor again this year and showcased our timber frame projects in Whistler. Highlights included a mini seminar series on the tradeshow floor, and a tour of Tamlin’s recently constructed post and beam contemporary homes.
The highlight for Tamlin during the three-day event was hosting a site tour of our buildings at WedgeWoods, a new development just 12 minutes from Whistler. All delegates from North America received technical learning units for their participation which is another benefit of this premier building event.
